Trumbull Rotary and bestselling Dr. Seuss author Tish Rabe, are creating a new children’s book that features a charming story that reflects the goals of the Four-Way Test, and includes information to encourage young parents to join Rotary. Bright, beautiful illustrations will be provided by African artist, Moka Celess. The book will be will be written entirely in rhyme.
Book publication date will be March, 2026, in time for Rotary’s Epic Day of Service, May 2026

Story Summary:
Amani, a little zebra who lives with her mother on the African plains, is learning what it means to care about others and have others care about her. The story, written for 4-7 year olds, celebrates friendship, caring for others, and inspires everyone to make our world a kinder, gentler place.
To raise $50,000 from our Rotary Clubs to fund the production, marketing, and printing of this delightful book, spreading Rotary’s values of kindness and friendship to children and families worldwide.
